Idling in Neutral

Again, just a few moments to splash around today.

Added color.

Huh.

Trying hard to idle in neutral rather than get all worked up one way or the other with each little change.

Clearly, as is the case in the Big Picture as well, I have no idea where I'm heading.

Funny how little changes tell a different story! My eye goes from right to left, down and around. Good morning sun!!!

Interesting, and now I see the tunnel more clearly. The shadows and depth still capture my eye. The addition of color makes the greys much more blue toned to me. ;)

Carol, thank you for your observations. It is easier for you than I, I'm guessing, to see this captured moment AS IT IS, vs. having its history and my intentions clouding objective vision. Very helpful. Love hearing your straightforward feedback.

Sheila, I extend to you the same message I wrote to Carol above. So helpful to get your take on what's in front of you here. I appreciate having my own viewing redirected to notice such things as the shadows, depth, and blue-toned grays.

Punchy and vibrant! Love the contrast and the angle of the line between them neutral and yellow. Once again, turning the piece was brilliant!

Jen, so grateful for the ongoing commentary. Joining the others who've commented, you've given me yet another eye with which to take a look at this piece as it progresses.
