Angry marks, O.K., I can see that. But this is a little piece of joyful anticipation. Scribble some more Dotty! :)

Thanks, Carol. I was grouchy, irritable, and not breathing into the too-much I had on my plate. I figured the quickest way for me to center was to paint impulsively for a few seconds. So I did. Felt good. The color boost was good for me, too, as was the bit of sunlight that fell on the canvas when I went to photograph : )

See my comments to Carol above. The marks were a way of grounding myself, of getting back in touch—literally—with the quiet, still place in me beyond grouchiness and irritability. I was so glad I took those few minutes to paint, even though I was pressed for time with my first tutee of the day about to show at my door. In minutes, I had a bit of happiness to prop in front of me for the rest of the afternoon : )

I see a happy house of sanctuary on the messy branches of life! Even in the grouchy, you found a little bliss (well, for the rest of us, anyway!!!) Wishing you a day of sunshine, bliss and loud guffaws.
