Layers 17, 18, and 19/100

You know how sometimes you grow your hair out, and aim for a certain look, and fuss with it, and get it just so?

And then one day you walk in for your regular hair appointment and say, "Cut it all off. Do whatever you want with it."

Layers 17, 18, 19.

#17 really touches me! If I ever got to got to that stage I couldn't move on! Something about the calmness it evokes with all subtle nuences. Has a sort of spiritual quality. Bravo Dotty, for moving on. I expect many more to come!

Loved hearing your responses to #17, Carol. Thanks. For me, that layer was easy to paint and easy to move on from. One of the things I love about painting and hearing responses is the invariability of variable responses!

Dotty! YOU BRAVE and WONDERFUL SOUL! Amazing. I am in awe of your willingness to "cut off your hair" and embrace what's next. YOU are my role model!!!

I am grateful for your support and cheerleading as the scissor blades snip snip snip and locks of hair whisper to the floor.

Oh my! Serene, quiet. Wrap myself up to rest.
Dreams float by, soft and gentle.
REM sleep kicks in - action!
