Big words. I like it!!! Melange makes me think of fruit. As do your fabulous spheroidal shapes. Luscious colors, ripe and juicy! My mouth is watering ;)

Thanks, Sheila. Love the melange-as-fruit connection. Take a big juice-dripping-down-your-chin bite!

This is -pure and simple- ALIVE! They look like they're moving around, each one looking for something different! And I LOVE the colors in Kensington Gardens. Also- I used to watch Mr. Rogers every day with my kids and our "special lunch on the couch". You brought back such wonderful memories that I teared up-in a happy way.

Laurie, thanks so much for your feedback on day 8 and day 7. Love that you see the aliveness in today's and enjoyed the colors of yesterday's (as did I). I'm so glad i hit on a way to approach my 30 days of painting for this challenge, not a theme per se but a way to know what my 'assignment' is each day. Fred Rogers was a remarkable man. My kids wrote to him a number of times over the years and always received responses (and all by post—no email or texting!).

Love everything to do with this piece. If they are rocks well I wouldn't want to be hit by won, rather like to think of fruit! Maybe cacti, sabra, sweet an juicy with little seeds. Love the light, bluish white, negative spaces, and the black broken outlines. Great piece!!!

Simone!!! So wonderful to see your name pop up on my screen just now. Welcome back—I've missed you. Yes, the 30-days challenge. I was ambivalent ahead of time, and now I'm all in, having a grand (if BUSY) time. Gotta fly over to your blog to see if you painted yet today. Can't wait!

Carol, thanks—fun to read your "love everything to do with this piece" feedback. You tapped into parts that I took particular pleasure in painting, i.e. the the light bluish white negative spaces and the broken black outlines. I think I may rename this piece, as several folks have seen fruit : )
