A Black and White Postcard

Yesterday I wondered what I might do today.

Now I know.

I took a piece of an assignment from waaaaaaay back in early September and turned it into a postcard. Made a black border on manila stock using paint markers, added some detailing to the assignment snippet, glued it to the stock, and integrated the snippet with the black border.

Very satisfying.

Writer's note: I've got a bit of a backlog of posts, and I've decided to double up for a few days to get myself back to posting in "real time" (if such a thing as real time even exists!).

Love this Dotty! The different shades of grey, the varying similar shapes, and the art migrating to the frame. Cool. :)

Thanks, Sheila. I've had fun returning to this study started three months ago. At the time, a couple of the exercises were bugging me and, you know me!, I chopped them into smaller pieces and therefore different compositions. Now I'm playing with them again with great delight. Migrating to the frame was fun.

Hi Dotty!

This sounds like that you are back on your 'own' horse again! I am far behind with everything, but just 10 minutes ago my email seemed to work again. It costed SOOOOO much time (that's why there was no painting today). I am going to catch up and try to answer your mail asap. bye!

Hi Simone, yes, my own horse!

Glad to hear your email might be working again. Computers are great … except when they're not!
