Thanks! As I sit here, rain is POURING down on the roof and skylight overhead; the sunshine of this warm dry little painting is most welcome : )

Yes this is a WOWER!!! Depth and still remains "one main color" Love the combination of the pale greens with vivid yellows/oranges. The addition of trails of red to the busy red ball adds the interest.
I see you lightly veiled the green and added more yellows!!! Love it!!!
Please send some of that rain!!!
We had class critique past 2 workshops. Would you be interested to see some of the work?

Thanks for your comments, Carol—always welcome!

We were grateful for the rain here; it's been in short supply these past many months.

I'd love to see some of the work you mention above. Thanks!

Nice to see those monochrome paintings coming around again! I hope that this monochromity-lesson will stay in my mind, because I actually love it when there is a lot of quietness in a painting!

I hope the monochrome message will stay with me, too! I'm so curious to see what will bubble up now that I have all the JD lessons in my experiential 'bank' and now that I am not getting 'outside' assignments.

Yes! I am curious too. It is indeed a 'bank', isn't it? A kind of reservoir or a backpack on your shoulders with all kinds of handy stuff in it ;-)

Cloudy here as well, but clearing. Your sunshine is like a tall, cold glass of orange juice first thing in the morning. Invigorating!

Ha! You may remember the old Florida Citrus Commission tagline: Breakfast without orange juice is like a day without sunshine!
