Shapes, Day 3

I can hear Dave's paintbrush spiffing up the exterior trim of our home, on the other side of the wall of my studio.

He paints outdoors.

I paint indoors.

  2. I don't know what it is exactly, the colors, the shapes, but the entire painting draws you in and it's a physical pleasant feeling. Love it!

    1. Laurelle, thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting. This was a painting done as an assignment for a class, but I have no idea where it really came from—love paintings of this sort that carry a sense for me of my having tapped into creative mystery.

  3. Thid is definetly a strong piece! Somehow reminds me of cacti!

  4. I don't know why, but this painting immediately screamed out Dr. Seuss to me, like it should be an illustration in one of his books. It looks like a cone, says Joan.

      I've sent you a cone,
      With speed—on a drone!
