Like Air

My mind exhorts, tidy up, create some order, tame the chaos.

But a quiet voice from a deeper place communicates without words, invites me to take it all in, like air; be porous, let it blow through.

Hi Dotty,

I like your free flowing painting!
Some freedom before Jane's class starts! ;-)

Thanks, Simone. It was definitely free flowing—the white streaks you see were made with a squeeze bottle that wasn't working as anticipated so became a 'fling' bottle that resulted in one fling that landed on my sock!

I'm eager to dive into Jane's lessons when I return from the beach : )

Oh yeah!

A total experiment, I must say! I have no vision or idea. I just approach the canvas every now and then and do something new with it. Thanks for cheering me along.

I see goldfish under ice in a frozen pond... but maybe that's just me. I enjoy the Rorschach quality of this one!

Awesome—it's Dad's koi in the back yard pond in maybe late February, wondering when the HECK spring will arrive! Stay tuned—I'm thinking this particular canvas has many, many more iterations/layers to go. The ice will be thick, thick, thick by the time it's done.
