Crossing the Midline

Grabbed an old painting from pre-blog days,

The Tropics Are Hot!

covered it with gesso,

and then painted the whole canvas with titanium white for good measure. Loved the physicality and freedom of spreading paint over the whole canvas, crossing the midline with my great big brush, not having a care about "outcome."

Then—so soon!—time for decisions. So, some textured black.
