Growing Family

Worked on another paper prayer today, this one for Judy.

I like how I can see the family resemblance to yesterday's. Yet, in the way that sisters resemble each other while still standing as their own individual selves, so do these two pieces.

I love this one. Will you send them to the sisters at the same time and tell them that they're each receiving one?

Glad you like this one—thanks!

My plan is to send them at the same time. The pressure's on! Hope to get them all completed soon. It's a surprisingly challenging project.

Love them both. Oh great...now I have that Clooney classic in my head. sisters, sisters... caring, sharing. LoL And images of Danny Kaye in blue feathers are floating around!

Loved having watched these go through so many transformations. They come more to life with each additional mark you make. Exquisite...

Thanks, Corinna. Indeed, many transformations, each mark leading to the next. These paper prayers in particular have history that goes back layers and layers and layers.

Thanks, Simone! It's been fun to have a strong sense of family as I make these pieces.
