Knew it would be. And it was. Is. Worth the wait. You had fun I can tell :)

Thanks, Sheila. What a gift my studio experiences are in offering me such fun ways to play.

Laurie, thanks for your nod to the title—it came to me instantly, and with a smile. The colors appealed to me as well, as did the fun! I stop at times in slack-jawed wonder that there was a time when I didn't paint every day!

Wonderful Dotty...it stopped me in my tracks! Love it.

Hi Anne, totally fun to hear from you. Thank you for sharing your response to Squaring Off in the Jungle. I am loving adventuring in all sorts of directions and I also love hearing responses because, as you no doubt well know, one can never predict! What I might be embarrassed to post, someone else turns out to love; what I might think of as exquisite, someone else finds puzzling or weird, or doesn't even notice. All of which is very freeing to me.

So true Dotty...we can not predict. I have burned around 100 paintings thinking they were not 'interesting' for others. I will never know.

Oh my gosh, you got a laugh/gasp out of me at your burning of ~100 paintings! That said, I'm thinking I might start painting over a bunch of my own. I'll have to go back in my blog to change availability status of said paintings!

Great greens and do I see some black?

Thanks, Ann. Staying with only tints, tones, and shades of green was a great exercise. Plenty more for me to play with in that arena. You do see one little smidgen of black on the far left … but not from my paintbrush! That was cut from an outdated poster calendar.
