Thanks, Sheila. This painting had some ugly moments en route but pretty much just flowed organically and enjoyably into existence. I've had it as my desktop wallpaper for days and, even though I have new paintings that I love that I could swap out as new wallpaper, I can't seem to let go of this one yet. Have fun with your pastels!

I've been having fun experimenting. Still more to learn with the crayons. They are more subtle than oil pastels, at least in my use of them so far. I will keep playing with them. And I don't know how one brand differs from another. Plenty to keep me in my studio!
